Israeli delegation visits Morocco to seek investment opportunities
An Israeli delegation arrived in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, on Tuesday to seek investment opportunities in Morocco.
According to exclusive data acquired by Assahifa Arabic, the Israeli delegation, composed of 5 individuals, held a lengthy meeting with members of the Moroccan investment development agency, including the acting managing Director, Hicham Boudraa.
The meeting was an occasion for the Israelis to discover the investment opportunities that Morocco offers for business people and to know the Moroccan products that could be exported to Israel.
The Israeli delegation expressed a huge interest in investing in Morocco's various economic sectors, given the good infrastructure, economic climate, political stability, and geographical location of Morocco. They are all encouraging factors for Israelis to make Morocco a starting point to discover West African markets.
This meeting comes after a virtual meeting between the Moroccan Minister of Digital Economy, Mulay Hafid El Alami, and the Israeli Minister of Economy, Amir Peretz. They discussed cooperation in industry, trade, investment, and the digital economy.
It is worth mentioning that The Israeli ambassador, David Goffrin, arrived on Tuesday in Rabat to start the Israeli diplomatic representation duties in Morocco for the first time after 20 years of the break.
