Tourism in Agadir

Moroccan tourists who frequented the various hotels, accommodation and tourist clubs ranked in Agadir topped the first half of the current year, compared with the rest of the tourists of other nationalities. The number of arrivals reached 139,932 tourists and tourists.

According to figures issued by the Regional Council of Tourism of Agadir Souss Massa, the total number of tourists coming to this destination from different parts of the Kingdom between the first of January and the month of June recorded an increase of 13.38% compared to the same period of 2018, Alpha and 417 tourists.

The number of tourists coming to Agadir from the French market in the second place, with a total of 69 thousand and 59 tourists, compared to 56 thousand and 794 tourists during the first six months of 2018, marking an improvement rate of 21.60 per cent.

Tourists coming from the German market ranked third with a total of 64,715 tourists, up 58.64 percent from the first six months of 2018, when the number of German tourists who arrived in Agadir reached 40,793 tourists.
There was also an improvement in the number of tourists coming to Agadir from England during the first trimester of the year, at a rate of 17.05 per cent, reaching 41 thousand and 427 tourists at the end of July, compared with 35 thousand and 393 tourists in the same period last year.
The 4-star hotels received the highest number of tourists who arrived in Agadir from different nationalities in the first half of the current year with a total of 148,459 tourists, followed by 5-star hotels that received 100 thousand and 840 tourists, Third, which received 88 thousand and 470 tourists.

There was an increase of 15.14% in the rate of filling in the various tourist accommodation units in Agadir between January and June of last year.
